CONCLUSIONS
Here
you have my personal evaluation of the Internet
in dealing
with the research I have prepared.
As everybody
Knows, the Internet allows its users to find all the possible information
about the theme he/she desires to know.
In this
case, I have had many problems when looking for information about C. S.
Lewis and all his bibliography, but -of course- it is not because the Internet
cannot find me the information, but also because not
all
the researchers on Lewis know the Internet.
When I first wrote
my First Paper I did not know what was going to happen, maybe the theme
I desired was so difficult to explore by the Internet, but when I chose
my subject - New Criticism - I was so secure I would find all the information
needed. But real things are so different from what one believed at a first
time. It was a great surprise for me to aknowledge that the Internet was
not a box of magic.
Because of this lack
of information, it has been imposible to write a subjective paper, the
one in which I had to analyse the literary work of an author -C.S. Lewis
in this case- trying to put in practice the literary critical tendency
I had studied.
I had no access to
his works, I only could enter to pages related to him dealing with religious
organizations and institutes, but when referring to his literary works,
I have only found students or fan pages, but not so good in order to make
a research.
Of course
the Internet has lots of things to say
in the
world of the humanities and literacy, but it is the time
when
researchers -professors and students-
have
more and more access into it.
It is
our task to prepare future literature students to work through the Internet
and its possibilities.
I am
sure we will do it!
Thank
you very much for all I have learned!!
