Abstract :
This second paper is about a comparison between two English poets. The first
author that we are going to analyse is
a Romantic one: John Keats; and the last one belongs to the Victorian Era:
Algernon Charles Swinburne. The topic of this paper is based on the comparison
of two poems related to the Greco-Roman mythology, by means of the evocation of
two feminine goddess.
Auto-evaluation: This paper has been more difficult to carry on
than the first one because I have had to analyse not one poem but two. Therefore,
I think the work is double, logically. Besides, looking for the relationships
between two authors is a little complicated, as it is also complex that to
poems of different authors can coincide. So, in my opinion, the appropriate mark that I could deserve it would be an 8.
