Abstract: I am going to focus on the Chronology, e-texts and weblinks of
Thomas de Quincey.
I
chose this author because some years ago, when I was studying at high school, I
took some references from him to make a work about Victorian England. I read Confessions of an English Opium Eater
and I liked very much, so I am interested in continuing work in him and reading
more books written by him.
What
I have found more difficult of the whole paper has been to find the e-texts,
since sometimes the links I have found are only images or do not work.
Auto-evaluation: The main problem I think I have found is
that there is a clear lack of information about Thomas de Quincey
on the Internet. I personally believe the mark I deserve is a B, since I think
I have tried to work hard on my web layout and design as in my work on
searching e-texts and weblinks.
