NINETEEN EIGHTY FOUR By George Orwell Since this novel is highly characterised with political content, on the one hand, Id like to examine the specific objectives, mechanisms and strategies developed by a totalitarian system within the population. Only a small group or party has power, which prevents the existence of any political opposition. It also practices an absolute control on social order in Oceania. On the other hand, I would also like to analyse Party members life and how the low class people, called "the Prole" are separated, as harmless animals.
