CONCLUSION
It has been the
first time I have read a Hypertext, and I have to say that, in spite of being
so difficult for me, I liked it.
The first time I
saw this text I thought it was easy: I thought that it was only to choose a
character and that’s all, nothing complicated, but when I started to read it in
detail I found that it was more difficult than it seemed. You are reading a
character and following the “next” arrows you go to more characters which are
related, in some way, with the character that you are reading, and it makes it
complicated because I did not found a sense.
After trying to
read it following the arrows order, I thought that it was better, and easier,
to read first all the characters individually, and I did it. Having done this,
it was easier for me to see the connection between characters and to understand
the sense of the arrows and the linked words.
When I realize
about the difficulty of reading this hypertext, I tried to contact the author
by e-mail for clarifying some of my doubts, but I did not receive any response.
Fortunately, I
think I was able to read it properly and enjoyed with the reading, because I
found this hypertext very funny, apart from a bit surrealistic!
The aspect I dealt
with in this paper was the “Time”. It was also difficult for me to mention all
the time connectors, but I tried to do my best and I did it following the
arrows order, and in this way, is possible to see as
well how the characters are interrelated.
I like the possibility of choosing the way you
want to follow and if you do not like the end you find, the possibility of
reading it again following a different path.
In this paper I
show the ways in which I read the text. Maybe, you find another one which is
better for understanding its sense, since is a hypertext and not everybody read
hypertexts in the same way; this is what it makes this kind of reading different
from the printed ones.
