Like Plato, in his first years in the School, Aristotle used very often the dialogues although he did not

have so much imagination than Plato, he did not this kind of expression. If we except sine named pieces

in some writers after him, his dialogues has been lost. Besides, Aristotle wrote some technics note, like a

dictionary of philosophy concepts and a summary of Pythagoras doctrines; of these notes only some

pieces has survived. However, what has arrived until today, were the notes that he used during the

lessons that Aristotle  made for his courses, that covered almost the knowledge and art fields. These

texts are based on notes that have been collected and ordered by his editors.

Between these texts there are some about logics titled Organon, because they give the way with

possitive knowledge has to be taught. Between these works about natural science it is the Physics, that

has a lot of information about astronomy, meteorology, plants and animals. His works about nature that

Aristotle first titled Philosophy, were named Metaphisics in the first edition ( C. 60 B.C. ) due to that

edition appeared after Physics. He dedicated to his son Nicomaco his work about ethics. Other important

works were: Rethoric, Poetics ( which has arrived unfinished ) and his Politics ( also unfinished ).
