CONCLUSION
Jacques Derrida, the chief proponent of Deconstruction, has had an enormous
impact on intellectual life around the world. This movement was a real
revolution for the Western metaphysical tradition. It represents
a response to Phenomenology, Structuralism and Psychoanalysis.
Deconstruction is not synonimus with "destruction" but is much closer to
the meaning of "analysis". A Deconstructive reading is a reading which
analyses the specificity of the text, one meaning over another.
Deconstructivism deals with the profound analysis of a text that claims
its own identity derived from the author's background. According to him,
each text constitutes a self and is written under certain circumstances
which are subordinated to writer's context. Moreover, each reader gets
his or her own conclusion about it.
In my opinion, Deconstruction is essentially a very new and revolutionary
way of "criticising" a text. It's can be very interesting to have a look
on this new point of view.
