Abstract or summary of the research in not more than 100 to max.150 words:

In this paper, I would like to work on the most important author in English Narrative, James Joyce.

I will try to find out some important features in the author, as for example, how his life was or which events had an important influence on him. Specially important for me is his particular use of the language, which I would like to investigate through his texts, the evolution from "Dubliners" or "A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man" to "Ulysses" or "Finnegans Wake". I would also like to add something about his origins and his country, Ireland.
