While they are waiting for, each of them teach a class: Racks talks about gardening, Nipper about emigrants, Sweetheart about sex, Sky-light about cook, Snatch about his experience and Iron about fight. SPACE AND TIME

The play takes place in a room of a school in the south of London. The time in the play is the present, because the actions happen in the present time.

LITERARY RESOURCES

The play is divided in two acts. The language used in the play is a little complicated because sometimes is the London dialect. The language imitates the way to speak that the young people have. It is very colloquial and poor (because the characters are boys of sixteen years old). It adds a difficult to understand the play.

PERSONAL OPINION

In my opinion, this play is boring because I don’t understand some of the dialogues and the action is slow. But I emphasize one thing: it is a good play in the sense that it reflects the young society very well. The play captures the way that the young people have to speak, their expressions; and it reflects the reality of the young groups, where one is the strong boy who wants to be the leader, the other is the handsome boy… In this way, the play is good. But I think that it is boring and for me, this play is interesting only in that aspect.
