CONCLUSION

Summarizing, I've tried to do a good page and I have included all the information that I considered interesting for the topic I'm developing. Through this information you can find not only a cold and simple biography, but also a wider vision of Wilde's real life and feelings.
Oscar Wilde was a very important artist in the Victorian period. He was very well-known by his contemporaries and he was considered a genious (you can see their sentences). He read a lot and he was very open-minded, people loved to have conversations with him because he was a great listener too.
We can't avoid the subject of his private life , specially  because it influenced a lot his career. His life was strongly marked by his homosexuality and his shocking relatioships, specially with his great love, Lord Alfred Douglas "Bosie". That became a big scandal, helped by Bosie's father, and Oscar was sent to prison for two years. This fact changed his life until his early death, as we can see in his poem "The Ballad of Reading Gaol".
I would strongly recomend you the book I've chosen. "The Picture of Dorian Gray" is based on the ideas of beauty and youth. Its meaning is very interesting because you see how something like beauty can even destroy you.
Finally, I would like to say that I've always enjoyed reading this author and I think that I've learnt a lot by making these pages. I can understand him better now. I hope you enjoed visiting my page. If you want to add something, please send me an e-mail.
