Here the protagonist is talking with a man who
is able to speak some words in English. For he it is very important because he
feels alone every moment by the fact that he cannot communicate with nobody. He
will be like a guide for him. Here everybody could speak English. In this
place, shows indifference when the man is making a description of all the main
or interesting places in that city. Talking to each other they mention the word
“coloration” and it takes some relevance since that word will be translated in
another language. The purpose of the guide is to show him the difficulty of
translating certain words. Communication goes on being a handicap for the
protagonist.
