“Dramatis personae”: In this play there were nine characters, Richard, Lady Anne, Queen Elizabeth, Queen Margaret, Buckingham, Clarence, Richmond, Hastings and Ratcliff. But the main character is Richard: He was man about middle age. He had two brothers, Clarence and Edward, he had felt envy and jealousy of them. He was small and ugly, and also he had an arm that he cannot move it, their brothers had everything and he had nothing. He was very ambitious and eager. An unscrupulous person.
Plot: Richard III was a man about the middle age, he had two brothers, one of them was Clarence and the other was Edward. Richard III convinced Edward IV to send his own brother Clarence to jail because his name started with a G (George, Duke of Clarence) since he believed that he had murdered Queen Margaret’s husband. And Edward jailed him in a tower. When Richard went to visit Edward, he knew Lady Anne, widow of Edward, Henry VI's son, who is transferring Henry VI's body to his funeral. Richard III told Anne that he killed them because he loves her. At first, Anne did not love him but, finally she loved him. Richard paid to someone to murder his brother, Clarence, and Ratcliff and Buckingham murdered him. Richard wanted to jailed Queen Elisabeth son’s and he wanted to be King. Richard also wanted to kill his own wife Anne then, he wanted to marry with Edward IV's daughter, Elizabeth. Everything was on this way. Richard III told Queen Elizabeth that he wanted to marry her daughter Elizabeth. She did not agree with him. But it was. So Queen Elisabeth went to France to visit Richmond (Henry VI) and told it. And in a battle Richard III died, because Henry VI killed him.
Space: the stage was hardly decorated, with a bathtub where Clarence was murdered, and with a throne, there were changes of scenes depending the place (the Royal Palace, the tower…) that they had to perform.
The theatre were not very illuminated, there were about eight spotlights, its lights were white, and when the play started all was dark, and then with a low dark light all the characters appeared on stage, after, the lights went down and Richard started the play.
All the characters were dressed with costumes of the age.
The performance was in Spanish.
