Title of the paper: Faith in God, a question of leniency.
Author or topic: Daniel Defoe
Abstract:
In this paper we will dissect about
each and every refering elements to human being read as right through,
emphasizing the aspect of human being in unusual circumstances such as
this case of an isolated and desert island which seems to be dwelled by
one white man first and by one coloured man later on. An attempt is made
to clarify the relationship established between them as characters within
the same reality but according to their personal and conflicting viewpoints.
We shall take into consideration all those
aspects which highlight the link to their lives making plain for the reader
how Defoe tried to connect this novel to his consciousness. Therefore,
we will examine the accuracy of religious thoughts between the main role
in the story, Robinson Crusoe, and the author, Daniel Defoe. Ultimately,
then, the writer seemed to propose a perfect way of life in which the man
gives reasons to no one, saying sorry only to himself although he is thankful
to God.
