Abstract:

My work is about Aanglo-Saxon literature(the beginnings in English literature) wich includes Irish ,Welsh ,Scottish literature and Gaelic movement.The topic resolves around Irish literature, particulary because here is where we find the origins of King Arthur . And it is oriented to Nennius and his Historia Brittonum; we also see others authors(Gildas)and Welsh manuscripts.

Arthur is the source of countless works of literature and his cotext the origin for many characters as Merlin,who has been the source of others works as well, and his knights (Sir Lancelot). Archeology and Arthurian sites are aspects associated with the legend wich also have a lot of to offer.Finally we will see ladies in Arthur legend .

In summary,in my job I try to show that King Arthur has been significant in British history.
