SHARI MARGOLIN
Shari Margolin, al igual que Liz Crain (mi autora hipertextual), fue una alumna de Faculty Vassar que, influida notablemente por su profesor Michael Joyce, se comenzó a interesar tanto por el fenómeno hipertextual que acabó realizando su tesis en este formato.
Según dice la autora:
This thesis is an exploration of new media poetry, which I am defining as any type of electronic poetry, whether on the web, in Storyspace, etc. I focused on kinetic poetry, which Edward Kac, pioneer in this field, describes as "language floating in space and time, being discontinuous, breaking down, melting and dissolving, and recombining itself to produce new meanings."
