CONCLUSION

Before reading the hypertext of Carolyne Guyer I have never experimented in reading in the computer, so “Sister Stories” has been my first hypertext!

I have always said that, if you want to read some story or something like that, it’s much better to read a book than read it in your computer; because is more comfortable to read lead in your bed with a small book and to fall sleep without you realise, than read in a computer, sitting in front of it and forcing you view and your eyes. But, it is true that, after reading “Sister Stories”, I realise that reading a hypertext is more amusing and more entertaining, because the story that you are reading depends on you, not only on the author, you choose the links that the author has put, and it seems that the story never finish, you always have some page that you don’t have read. So, I invite people to prove the new technologies and to read by this new form of literature art.

To do this paper I chose to deal the aspect of “time”, and maybe it was an error because I really didn’t know how to treat this aspect in this story. That is because this hypertext is not a really “story”, is also history, and it have not properly a beginning and an end like other stories, so the only time in that finally I have decided to work in the period of time of the Aztecs, as it is the time in which the story is related. This is the point that I have found more difficult, because the story seemed to not finish and I spent lot of time reading and reading in order to find more specifics scenes or parts in the story to comment in the paper with the time.

In spite of that, I am happy with my work, and I am happy too because I have read this hypertext and I have learnt a lot of things of Aztecs, and I have learnt too how to read a hypertext, although at first I was a little lost and confusing.
