CHARACTERS

FRANK

He is the principal male character. He is a bus driver that he is in love of Gladys.

GLADYS

He is the principal female character. She works in a radio saying the time, she hates her work. She is in love of Frank.

Other characters are: First Poter, Myrtle Trelawney, Mr. Mortiner, Sir John, Mr.Courtenay-Smith, Lord Coot, Bery Bligh, Operator, Ivy and Second Porter. They are secondary characters that he go by bus when Frank look for Gladys.

SUMMARY

Frank is a bus driver that one day listened the radio listen the voice of his lost woman. He tries finding her but she is a machine with emotions, Gladys reflects about the meaning of the time, she thinks that people are dominated by the time. Gladys wants that Frank come to her, she want this to demostrate that the time is an invention but Frank never go. Her chiefs see what happen with Gladys but she must continue saying the time. The play end with a Gladys reflection saying “my chief believe be God”

SPACE

We do not where Gladys is because we only listen her voice. Other scene is represented in the Big Ben, other scene is represented in a telephone box and the last scenes are represented where Gladys works. Lot scenes are represented inside the bus.

TIME

We suppose that the play happen in some days although in the play does not mark that what happen the play.

LANGUAGE

The play is written in prose, the author use a normal vocabulary to the people can be understand better.

PERSONAL OPINION

I think that Gladys have the reason because we do not live with the time, the time live with us because we are always seeing the clock.
