In my research I am going to
try to make a general view of Fantasy Literature in English language
based on all Tolkien´s works, making the focus of my reseach on his
most well known trilogy The Lord of the Rings, and his books The Hobbit
and The Silmarilion. Tolkien´s style, critics on Tolkien´s
works, Tolkien´s own opinions and suggestions will also be targets
of my research. Several writers have based
their works on Tolkien´s world, but not only writers, also music
groups, even it has had influence in several paintings and drawings, based
on Tolkien´s criatures as dragons, warriors, elves, etc. I am going
to try to make reference to them, and also to the great number of role
games influenced or based on Middle Earth.
