Firstly, in this section, I have taken into account the biography of the author because of the fact that it is considerably impotant at the time of placing the author in a way or another. It is important as well because the life of the author can, in a way, be influenced on the book. In this way, we can extract some information, for instance, in which contextual period this novel is placed, etc.
Secondly, as you will know, I have divided the paper itself into three parts, pointing in the first part mainly the irony, grotesque, etc, in Gulliver´s Travels. In the second part of the paper, I have mentioned some modes of reading Swift and I have extracted part of the information from different books as well as from Internet. Ending with the trird part, you will observe some critics made by some authors like Richard Sympson, Albert C. Baugh,… to Swift.
