As far as space is concerned, we can't locate the text in a particular place. But we are given some information about the place the character belongs to: "but the sweep and rhythm of his line and the energy of his colour relate him, as well, to the Venetian tradition" from this phrase we may think that our man is Italian or has Italian relatives (roots). The next: "soon another Hollywood tradition come to pass", "his handshake is dry, firm, and as he shakes he looks you straight in the eye and smiles a Hollywood smile", these last references could give us an idea of the place where he works (as we know, he is an artist). And finally, there is a clue of where he lives in the next phrases: "judging from the epitome of the American dream that one man can rise above his fate and succeed on his own terms", "he was given and award by the president of the United States of America for his many amazing achievements".

On the other hand, the author, while talking about the character's life, presents us the view of a scenery: "and he was lead by the spirit into the wilderness".

As already said in other section, the poem is basically a description, and places are scarcely mentioned.
