Abstract : I have thoroughly analysed the Tools that the author tries to transmit to the reader through his work. Paul Kafka allows the reader to enter a circle of four friends (Dan, Beck, Bou and Margot) who share secrets as well as experiences. Following the laws of hypertextual fiction, the author lays before us differents moments on the life of the main character, Dan, from which we can choose where to start. That "click" will let us continue understanding his circle of friends, as well as his passionate feelings for two different women (Bou and Margot) and what they represent to him. This love dichotomy intertwines with his experiences as a fourth-year subintern in New Orleans.
I hope I reflect in my conclusion the feelings that this hypertext has made me revive while analyzing the Tools that Paul Kafka kindly devised.
