Conclusion

The reason for choosing The Interview was my initial decision of working on the aspect of time. Looking through the hypertexts I was left to choose from to work on my second paper, what caught my attention, at the first sight, was its clear time structure. When I started to work on it and analyze the storyline, I realized that my expectation in the sense of time was slightly wrong, and this hypertext turned out to be quite difficult to study the aspect I’ve chosen.

For the rest, I have enjoyed my experience of confronting a text of this type. It is the first time I’m working on a story of such characteristics. Hypertexts are, completely different from the writings I was used to read or to work on. It was a great experience that has allowed me to learn new ways of making a literary study. It has also opened me a door into the great and exciting world of hypertext fiction.

Regarding Eisen’s style, I found it easy and pleasant to follow. At the beginning I was quite shocked about naked and rough and, sometimes even ridiculous, of representing the main character. But I expect that this type of fiction will get more and more popular in the future.

I really hope that my way of seen Eisen’s work, and especially in the aspect of time, will suit the characteristics of a good analysis of a hypertext.
