Abstract: The aim of this paper is to analyze the poem “She
walks in Beauty” by Lord Byron.
First of
all, we will analyse the poem itself by finding its meaning and the mechanisms
the author has used to write it. Then, we will put the poem in relation with
the rest of the poet's poetic production and we will explain in what moment of
the poet’s life it was written and published. After having doing this, we will
try to state if the poem follows the topics and has the characteristics that a
Romantic work is supposed to have.
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to analyse the work of Elizabeth Barrett
Browning and Christina Rossetti and establish if since
they belonged to the same period of time they therefore focus their work on the
same topics and in the same way. In order to do this we will focus in two
topics that I think that represent the main ideas of these two authors: Love
and Death.
Auto-evaluation: I wish
I could say that I deserve the highest mark, but I think that this would not be
fair enough. On the one hand, I know that my first paper was not a brilliant
work, in part because I had not plenty of time to do it, and in part because I
did not know exactly what I was expected to do. However, I have tried to
correct some mistakes and I have added some aspects in my first paper.
On the
other hand, I think that my second paper is better than the first one because I
have been working all Christmas and this time I had a clearer idea of what to
do and how to do it.
I have
enjoyed doing this second paper and I like the idea of uploading our works in a
personal web page because even though at first glance it looked like a
difficult task, now I realize that is easier and definitely worthy.
To sump
up I think that I deserve a Notable.
“And by the way, everything in life is
writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it,
and the
imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.”
