Brief summary

Dorothy Mc CRAE Abrona is the autobiography of Dorothy, a girl that from very small had their "first steps" in the world of painting. This story is the story of a lifetime devoted to painting,Dorothy is a painter of heart, profession, that throughout the hypertext, we will see how dedicated all his time to painting here, and this will be the means to transmit all their concerns, feelings, joys and sorrows.

Throughout the book, Dorothy who will have his life, a life filled with good times and times a little more difficult. We can attend daily for 9 months for the funniest moments of his life.

One of the threads of argument, as noted later, is his personal life. At first tell by memories of their childhood and youth and there we show that Lewis was his first love, and who in turn did much damage as he was unfaithful several times. Later we'll meet Luke, who would be her future husband, but happiness does not last long because he died just a year and half after marriage. This marked his life, which we perceive in tristera and longing with which he writes, when her husband agreed. But more interesting is that 81 years have a boyfriend, his name is Sid, and a long time together, this work did not come to marry her but then there ¡wedding! . As we have seen this aspect of the life of Dorothy is quite funny because, comic account of his exploits and experiences with men and reading is very enjoyable.

Regarding their professional lives, is a renowned painter and famous, like a tireless professional, with his age still painting table after table without getting tired and made many trips to exhibit or just admire the works of various museums.

But the most important of these works, not his personal life nor his professional life but a life with ups and downs and joys, and the narration of a person who has lived several times and learned a lot about ellas.Es interesting because it relates both the life of a famous painter's life as an old woman, who sees that as the years pass, which professionally has won rioja is losing little by little.

The character of Dorothy, is a delightful old lady, living alone but it lacks the company is a modern woman and takes minimal effort to claim the role of women in the painting in the world in which they live. It is an interesting character because you can teach many things about life.

Throughout the story, takes us to different places, times, atmospheres, and introduces us to everybody who has spoken in his troubled life.

From here I invite you to know a different person, a person could define in a word: "interesting.".
