Temporal elements

The work that we are analysed at the temporal aspect, is somewhat special, because throughout the hypertext there are plenty of quotations and references to time.

One of the reasons why I chose this Hypertext was that has an excellent structure:

·       Dorothy McCrae Abrona is divided into nine months (April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December), and this is precisely one of the causes of their subsequent distribution and perfect understanding.

·       The story may well be followed by all the references, in this case, the author provides temporary elements (hours, days, years, times ...).

·       The hypertext is written as a personal diary and every page presents the story of one day. One of the reasons why we can know that does not write every day, it is precisely because of the time references.

·       Initially, the narrator used as reference periods, years, is talking about his past in general terms. But as we move deeper they are more precise, I mean that no longer refers to periods of times, but day to day, (hours of the day, etc ...). This is a significant event because, as we enforced the time to lead the reader to some current events, more specific and more intimate view.

·       Another important element to emphasize is that, throughout the narrative, this time mixed with the past, as a feature of this work is that the narrator uses the memories, for in any time, tells us a story.

To finish this section, I felt it appropriate to note that the time will be the essential and principal instrument of the narrator , to lead      the reader through its history.
