Analysis of the chapter 3

The name of this chapter is “pandanus dioecius: male/female separate”. Here, she compare the female Pandanus with the women, since the shape of this plant is similar of skirts. Besides, she compare also the male and female trees to show that the male are better.

The images represent the female tree, her fruit (with its corresponding name) and a Jamison more boy than girl.

The photos are black and white and are supported with the commentary of the main character, who is dressed up as a boy.

At the bottom of text, there are a sentence that says: the importance of our identity is into the gender, not into sex.
