Analysis of the chapter 6
The name of this
chapter is “purification in the forest”. Here, Sonya Rapoport reproduce
literally words of the main character, who feel the increase of testerone and
the lack of menstruation. She can felt the increase of libido and the typical
change of voice that suffer boys. She was been achieving her aim: to be man.
The image reveal the
moment in which “man” and tree are on intimate terms, as it is said “bonding
with the tree”. He wears the mask of chapter before and he´s hugging the tree.
