Analysis of the chapter 7
The name of this chapter is ingestive and
insertive rites. Here, itīs explained the rite, where some human
substances are inserted into the tree; the juice of the red fruit of tree, he
has to consume it( because itīs like copulating with a woman) and also the
mixture of semen with the wormīs juice.
It compared also the red fruit of ishoyu tree with menstrual blood
and white milk inside pandanus nuts(who are also used as hallucinogens) with
semen.
There
are 5 images, but only has colour the red fruit, to attract our attention. They
represent roots of tree; fruit and nuts and the mask. Nevertheless, the mask is
covered by leaves and it seems that it consumes the nuts(symbol of rite)
