This page is at the same time the title page of the hypertext. It contains the title  Arbor Erecta . a summary of what Arbor Erecta means and a photo to illustrate as good as possible the narrative.

The title is green and it emphasize the importance of that colour in all the text. Under title is written 'a botanical concept for masculinity' in red and black background( the background will be the same in all the titles of chapters).

Under the title, there is the name of the author introduced by “by”. The handwriting is Times New Roman in size 24.

Then, appears the image, where a man is lying down in what might be a forest. The moon is there and of his genitals grows up a tree with fruits. He is nude and he has his left arm crossing his chest. It´s a photo that help us to understand what the author goes to tell us.

Only the word that is written with capital letters is “ARBOR ERECTA” when Sonya Rapoport explain its meaning. This explanation is given following the image. Here, it knows that James change from female to male and this is an adaptation of his transsexual story based on the rites of New Guinea.

Furthermore, Sonya Rapoport tell us that if it master trees, it can bring to light an intangible but real commune with the green cosmos.

Lastly, it find a quote of Gilbert Herdt "The mystery of the world is the relationship between the visible and the invisible".
