In the fiction short story appears a man and a woman with
different sad and happy ends. And several times Linhart asks to you with
different links about what would you like to do with the characters or
what will do in their situation. He wants introduce you in the story to
take part in it and it makes easier to undestand better everything happens.
It's a hard hypertext to understand, and it would be
better having imagination to enjoy and comprehend the main meaning
of the story.
I've never read a hypertext story but it has been interesting
although the author is still working in it. It isn't a finished work and
I think that's why is harder to understand it. Linhart doesn't use a difficult
words, but the story has confusing meaning. At the end, you don't know
who is the boy and girl who sometimes appear and where are they or you,
because the autor wants you to be the main character and he wants you participe.
It also has a lot of links, more than one hundred, where
you can find and discover new things about the place, time, charcters.
Some of these links bring you to talk with the girl and keep a conversation
with her, it seems like reality and you can understand better what the
author means.
So as a result of reading this short hypertext I can
tell you it is an interesting world. I've never had read this kind of stories
but I have liked it and I would like to keep reading more during all my
live.
I have read the "The Luminous dome" with a PC and
Linhard made this hypertext with Macintosh that's why it can't be
watched correctly. This hypertext hasn't got any image or the author hasn't
created them yet, also Linhart talks about a Button talk on many
online servicesand FTP sites that carry Macintosh software. But here, with
these computers, we can't enjoy any of these avantages the author shows
us.
I would have liked to participate in this story, write
some of my ideas and can be a co-author too, but it hasn't be possible.
This hypertext has three ends and you can find in the
story that is still been finishing. So probably we could find more
things next week, next month, next year...
