- [education]I started to study Computer Science (Ingenieria informatica) in 2002
and Telecommunication in 2003 at the University of Valencia E.G. (www.uv.es). I am planning to receive my degree in
Telecommunication Engineering in June 2008
- In 2003 [education]I made an additional course of programming languages
(Java, C++, HTML, PHP, Perl, My SQL) in Linux environment (300 hours).
- 2003:[work] 2 months at the company Integralia-RCI (Valencia): work
with PHP andSQL in a large project team to create solutions for there
clients, maintenance of the company website)
- In 2004 [education]I started to be interested in biology and have taken a
module in biochemistry.
- [education]In the academic year 2005/06 I have been an Erasmus student at the
University of Hertfordshire
(Hatfield, UK, www.herts.ac.uk) , and have taken all the modules of
the MSc program in Artificial Intelligence. My master thesis project was
about finding transcriptional factor binding sites in the genomic DNA
using SVM (Support Vector Machines)
- [education]In 2006 I have spent the first semester at the Polytechnic University of Madrid with a Seneca
scholar ship.
- [education]In 2007 I have continued my career of Computer Science at the
(Spanish) National University for Distance Education ( UNED, www.uned.es), which
enables me to work on an a project in artificial life in the
Computational Biology Group in the Department of Genetics and Marine
Biotechnology at the Institute of Oceanology, Polish Academy of Sciences
in Poland
- [education]From 2007, I'am involved in an artificial life project Actually I'm
developing in the Computational Biology Group in the Department of
Genetics and Marine Biotechnology at the Institute of Oceanology, Polish
Academy of Sciences in Poland, under the supervision of Dr Borys Wróbel.
