German

Huxley’s most famous novel Brave New World was already translated into German the year it came out. In this first version with the title Welt-wohin? the setting was changed from London to Berlin and northern Germany and also some of the names which belonged to well known British capitalists were changed into the corresponding personalities in Germany.  Later on, in the year 1978, the book was translated again by Eva Walch and in her version she used the original locations and names.
