Abstract: Charles Dickens is a well known writer and is also considered by many people, the most important author of the victorian era. I decided doing this work about him just because I like the way he writes, giving his own characteristic personality to the characters he writes about, and making objective criticism about some aspects of the society which he didn't agree with.

In this page I will present an extended biography about his life and all the details that makes Charles Dickens the great writer he is, researching in the Internet to find out all the usfull information I can.

The author is well known because of his great novels, but he also wrote many articles, as a journalist, short stories, and many other texts apart from long novels. Another of the aims of this work is to present the articles and texts that he write so we could read more things than just his novels.

Apart of collecting information about the author, I also tried to make a complete webpage in which I will present all the information very clearly and accesible to everyone interested in learning more about Charles Dickens, making links to the original webpages where I have extracted the information from.

Auto-evaluation: I look at my mistakes and I have correct them as you said in class, including the copyrights and the reasons why I selected the information I get. I've also corrected all the grammatical mistakes so I hope I can reach that point that we are able to get doing the corrections.
