In my opinion, "Heart of Darkness" by Joseph Conrad is important today because the transition it made in the modernist novel.
We can find contrasts between light & dark that stands out in the film "Apocalypse Now" like another contrasts: Good & Evil.
We can observe too aspects such as racism, superiority... that are fashionable topics today and move a lot of opinions around the world.
This world brings the oportunity to know something about Conrad and his main novel more deeply, "Heart of Darkness".
