INTERVIEW

Why do you like the film?
Adult: l like the film because it can satisfy both adults and children. Personally l like the first part of the film because the most funny characters appear in it such as: Alice, the rabbit, the dog, the cat and so on.
Child: Yes, I like the film because it makes me laugh, and its characters are very funny.

What is your favoutite character?
Adult: My favourite character is, obviously, Alice. She is from my point of view, the tenderest character and l also prefer her to the others because she is the main character and l feel intentified with her when see the film.
Child: My favourite character is the worm because when it speaks appears with him letters and after that it becomes butterfy.

What scene do you like best?
Adult: My favourite scene is the one in which Alice and the Queen´s Court play criquet. l think it is the funniest part of the film and the Queen although, she is a cruel character makes me a friendly impression.
Child: When some characters are taking the tea, becacuse I like very much the song.

Do you think this is more than a play for children?
Adult: l think, this film cannot be understood by a child´s mind. the film retracts a world in which time does not exist,it is an abstract idea which each character modifies and chooses according to their amusements. Their world is a microcosmus of our own world, they use our free time as the only time that for them exists. it is obviously, that all these reasonigs can not be thought by a child.
Child: I think it is not for a unique public, because I like it and my parents too.

How would you summarize the film?
Adult: the film deals with a girl´s adventures in a fantastic world, where she meets many irreal characters who provide us a critic of our real world, which is adapted by them retracting aspects of our life that we consider of certain importance, in an ironic way using personifications and other techniques in order to exagerate these aspects: time, oldness, death...
Child: Alice is the main character. At the begining she falls sleep and e begins to dream, where appears a white rabbit, and she tries to catch it, as she can not, she decides to follow it. The rabbit hides in its home and Alice falls in a hole. When she arrives at rabbit´s home, she finds a little door, so she cannot cross through it, as a consecuence she drinks a potion which has written "DRINK ME", as soon as she drinks it she begins little. But the key is left on the door, then as she cannot open the door, she begins to cry, as much as she floods the room, she hides in a bottle and goes out.
After that she loses along the way but fortunatelly, she finds a worm which speaks a lot, when ir disappears transforming in a butterfly, Alice continuous her way. But, a broom dog erases the way and she begins to cry again. She sits over a rock and the animals which where there round her. Suddenly, a cat appears and she asks about how to go to the Queen´s Castle.
As soon as she arrives to the Castle, Alice sees some cords which are paintind roses with red colour because the Queen likes them red, and if the Queen finds then white she will cut them their head.
After that Alice and the Queen begin to play golf, but with hedgehogs as balls and a sort of birds as tools to strike them. The Queen juggles and wins.
At least, Alice gets out off the garden but the Queen and the King follow her for cutting her head, but... when they are near to catch her, Alice wakes up.
