Abstract            

Firstly, I would like to present the huge effect that these both writers have worked as major influences for different forthcoming authors.

Moreover, when analysing Cervantes from the English culture point of view or Shakespeare from the Spanish readers eyes, I would like to contrast the social acquisition which has been accomplished by giving some examples, in one hand by the English culture with the analysed Cervantes and in the other hand, the Spanish world with the readings of Shakespeare works analysing the contexts and the projections of each author in the other culture through the different translations. The aim of this project will be fulfilled if the research is made also with the approach to some features of the authors, not looking into their similarities or differences but analysing them from the point of view of being sons of a same time.
