This play takes it’s best form on the love and friendship triangle formed by Emma, Jimmy & Robert. Filled with betrayal, lies, love, and misunderstanding.

-Emma: She’s thirty-eight years old and she’s married with Robert, and have an extra-matrimonial relation with Jimmy since 1968. She’s a smart and good-looking woman with a special interest on books and new talents for their editorial. Without taking care of the other relation, she’s a women with definite ideas of her life.

-Jimmy: He’s fourty years old and is the best friend of Robert, and the lover of Emma. He’s smart and is working with Robert in an editorial looking for new talents and for the selling of the books. Although he’s the best friend of the husband of Emma, in 1968, in a party, he declares to Emma, and since that moment, they started a relation. Talks with a cultural level on his speaking, symbol that he’s smart.

-Robert: He’s fourty years old and he’s the husband of Emma and the best friend of Jimmy. He’s smart but he doesn’t have definite ideas. And he, although he’s working with his friend in their editorial, doesn’t like reading, or find new talents because he hates the new prose novels.

The play divides in nine scenes, with temporal changes. At reverse of the typical, the course of the book is inverse. Begins in 1977 and ends in 1968. At the beginning, Jimmy and Emma starts talking about a discussion of her and her husband and she tells everything about their relation. Later, Jimmy talks with Robert about this, and the first knows that Emma lies to him, and Robert has an unfaithful relation with another woman. With this, begins a voyage to the past, step by step. First, Jimmy and Emma talks on the flat where they lives secretly, and she takes away the key from her keyhole. Then, the next scenes are how their relationship changes to the past, where they have more confidence back than actually. Finally, in the last scenes, Emma tells Jimmy that she saw the wife of him in a restaurant with a woman in a strange actuation, but she seems to do not take so much care. In the last scene, in 1968, nine years before, in a party in the house of Robert and Emma, Jimmy declares to her and she shock a few moments till the appareance of Robert, he doesn’t take care, but he knows the beginning of the first betrayal.

The plot takes place in two places in special. The flat where Jimmy and Emma lives secretly for 4 years, and the house of Robert and she. Apart from them, there are other scenarios. The three places are a referent on their lives. One is where the betrayal takes place, the other is where the betrayal begins, and the other is a place of reunion for the three. Therefore, the plot takes place since 1977 to 1968 backwards.

The author uses a standard nivel of language. It’s not difficult and it’s easy to read. Like other plays of him, he uses short sentences for the characters.

In some moments, the characters repeats the same sentence in the same dialogue, maybe, for make a more emphasis in the situation or for make to the reader, that there are emotion in the characters and in his situation on the story and in their lifes.

Another aspects: There are no other aspects of special mention of the period when this play appears although the only appearance of three characters a special relation within they and the reader or audience.
