Place & Time of plot:
A street with a tree and a bog, with nothing more around there. The play can be situated at the endings of a world war, thing that is present in the two main characters.
Literary and stylistic resources:
The author uses a few wordplays in the play, like the one of the willow without leaves, symbol that after the war, all the tears has been dropped; other of them, are when Vladimir calls Pozzo and Lucky, Abel and Cain, maybe they’ve thinked that they were brothers… and a few more. The constantly repetition of situations and statementes makes humoristic situations within the characters.
Another aspects:
The recent ending of a war is in the mind of the main characters. On the contrary of get depressed, they stand with a smile on the face, joking and staying with his friends. This represents a good face after the war.
