The Wellsian is the official journal of the H.G. Wells Society. It has existed since the 1960s: click here for an index of the new series (1976– ). All back issues of the journal are still available, except for no. 5, and can be ordered from the Society's sales officer, John Green, at 29 Valence Circus, Dagenham, Essex RM8 3LU, United Kingdom. Each issue (including postage and packing) costs £1.45 in the UK, £2.00 in the EU, and £2.50 for the rest of the world. In the case of volume 5, where the journal is out of print, individual articles can be acquired from the editor for the cost of copying and postage.

The editor welcomes submissions on all aspects of Wells's life, work and thought. Please send articles on floppy disk or as e-mail attachments, as well as on A4 (or equivalent) paper, double line spaced. All submissions will be acknowledged and a decision on acceptance for publication will normally be made by September. Decisions will be in the form of acceptance, rejection or suggested revision. Occasionally, accepted articles will be held over a year for publication in a subsequent volume.
