Sega
QA & Localisation Technician
My current position at SEGA sees me working within a team that rigorously tests some of the bestselling video games for multiple platforms. Due to the nature and reputation of the company, when testing some of its most notable titled games such as Alien: Isolation and Football Manager there is an extra pressure for high standards to be consistently met. This demands proficiency, commitment and a can do attitude. Whilst my main duty is to test Spanish localisation, ensuring the quality of the titles by following test scripts, maintaining the bug data base, proofreading and translating, I also carry out Compliance and Functionality testing, meaning I meticulously ensure that the correct use of naming conventions for different platform holders have been upheld and that the games run properly and with no major errors.

Testronic Labs
QA Localization Technician
I began my career as a video games tester at Testronic in September of 2013. Whilst working for them and subsequently I have had the opportunity to test a plethora of current and next generation video games, mobile apps and websites for a number of the leading players in the industry such as Sony and Microsoft or Apple. During my time here, tasks included testing Spanish and South American Spanish localisation. Although this was primarily for games it also included apps, software and entertainment. As well as this I was responsible for the technical adaptation of the different language requirements and had to report technical issues and implementation of bugs in standard industry formats. Exploratory testing was also performed, whilst managing bug regression and the upkeep of the database.

Symbio Oy
Market Localization Tester
My role was to find ways to best adapt products for the Catalan and Spanish markets, whilst ensuring that the distinctive requirements of the consumer were always considered. The team I was working on specifically tested new prototypes, devices and apps for Nokia. Alongside this I initiated a project with the intention of improving the workflow and the communication within the company, with positive and considerable results; as found in an exploitative survey, employee satisfaction was seen to improve by a 12%. I have ongoing links with Symbio, still working for the company as a freelancer when I am required on a variation of challenging projects.

POEM Group
Human-Computer Interaction Research Assistant
My very first experience as a research assistant could not have been more productive or fruitful. The team I was working with focused on Gamification and Entertainment, something that was of great importance to me as it had strong links to my interests surrounding Human-Computer Interaction. The final outcome of this work can be seen in a paper published about 3D Interfaces in Games, Movies and Entertainment. A very rewarding and eye opening experience.

Equipo Humano is the most promising HR company in Spain. In the period I was working there, I was doing really different tasks, all related to Human Resources.
