FIRST PAPER  : SAMUEL BECKETT, HIS NOVELS
AND PHILOSOPHY

In this work I will try to deal with Samuel Beckett´s work on novel.  As we know Samuel Beckett was successful with his Theatre of Absurd.  I will compare his absurd plays with his experimental novels such as Watt (1943-1944) and his famous trigoly of Molloy (1951), Malone Dies (1951) and The Unnamable (1953).

Beckett´s main characteristic is the experimental literacy, and I will study this experimental literacy comparing him with his friend James Joyce and his novel A Portrait of a Young Artist.  The main idea is to get to know Beckett´s novel as well as his play Waiting for Godot.

To get to study Beckett´s novel I will have to make reference to his time, style and philosophy of living . I will mention his biography and career as a writer who won a Nobel Prize in 1969.
