    In this project I´m going to talk about Modernism and its characteristics (Stream of Consciousness and the Interioir Soliloquy).

    I will study James Joyce as the most important novelist of this century, through his novel A Portrait of a Young Artist, and making a bit reference to his other novels, mainly his Ulysses (1922).  I will also relate Joyce´s work with Samuel Beckett and their contribution to the modernism period and the experimentalism novel.

    Finally I will cite some authors of modernism and their novels;  D. H. Lawrence, Viriginia Woolf and E. M. Forster.
