The aim of my work is to show the critics
made to the author Bram Stoker and to his best work, DRACULA
. I will try to find as critics as I can from all the possible kinds of
criticism of the XX century just as NEW CRITICISM, RUSSIAN FORMALISM, STRUCTURALISM
... and all the theories I can find in the net in order to have a generic
point of view of what the author represents in the english language narrative.
At the same time I will try to search the more information I can about
the terror narrative of the XX century and what have been the apportations
of Bram Stoker in this field.
The second part of my work will be a brief comment of some of his works that didn't have the same importance in the filed of the narrative, just as THE LADY OF THE SHROUD, THE LAIR OF THE WHITE WORM, MISS BETTY, ...........
As a conclussion, this exposition of Bram Stoker's
works will be as objective and complet as possible in order to offer the
most correct and certain point of view of what Stoker means in the english
language narrative.
