       This is a link from the main page of Tomoyuki Hoshino, a famous young Japanese writer who has already won several literary prizes. For the people interested in knowing more about the author there is a link in English. However, the contents are completely different from the Japanese version.

       The link we are suggesting is an extensive review on the novel of “Don Quixote” who, if the sources on the bottom of the page are true, was read by Hoshino in Spanish and accompanied by other theory books. The whole page is very simple in design because it is more focused on the contents than in the form.

       The article is not only a summary of the novel, but an essay on our feeling when reading “Don Quixote”. Hoshino tries to understand what Cervantes was intending when writing his novel, and from what point of view should the reader read it.　It is a pity that the article is only available in Japanese because this is the kind of text that should also be read by other cultures who are already acquainted with the figure of Don Quixote but want to know more.
