Abstract :Anita Brookner is  a novelist and art historian, was born in London.
My subjetcts are about: Books and artícless written by A. Brookner.

A. Brookner begins writing  several books of art criticism, the first was “Jacques-Louis David” published in 1967. Her earliest novels begin during the eighties, producing approximately one book a year. the first was “A start in life” published in 1981, since then she usually publishes one book per year. Besides she include one essay “Soundings” published in 1997. Her topics typically perform at the middle class women, who suffer isolation, emotional loss and unlucky in love and yearning for it. Hotel du Lac published in 1984, won the Booker Prize for Fiction and was adapted for television in 1986. 

Anita Brookner wrote a lot of critics about of author's book, which were published in the "Spectator Magazine".

In conclusion, the Anita Brookner's genres are criticism, fiction and non-fiction. Her books are a lot of importance in the English literature s.XX, because of include topics about the woman's problem
