The aim of this paper is to study one of the most important XIXth century writer: Lewis Carroll. I am going to focus my attention on how his life (social, political, philosophical, educational context, ...) influenced his main work: "Alice in Wonderland".
Despite his other interesting works, I am not going to study them. In this essay of "Alice in Wonderland" I will point out some essential aspects such as:
* Reality and Fantasy: a Carrollian combination.
* Language + Maths = Lewis Carroll.
* Alice's influence in contemporary young literature.
* "Alice in Wonderland": an educational source for our kids.
