I have chosen Kazuo Ishiguro because I am very interested in
Japanese culture . I think that this author offers some new ideas to my
investigation because he has lived in Great Britain and Japan and he can
give an opinion about these two peculiar ways of life at the same
time, like a Japanese and like an English citizen.
I want to do a project with a timeline since 1954 (the date of his
birth). In this timeline, I will describe:
-His life: Moving from Japan to Great Britain, his works
before being a popular writer and his professional path.
-His different books: He doesn´t have many novels but he has
won important literary prizes like theWinifred Holtby Prize,Whitbread Book
of the year Award and the 1989 Booker Prize.
-Articles about the author: Commentary about his books, contents and
an interview by an Spanish critic.
-Links: Many interesting web pages.
But everything in chronological order in a timeline since 1954 up to
now.
Auto-evaluation: I think that I deserve a good mark because I
am very interested in this author but I don´t have internet and I
make a big effort by getting a computer and investigate about how function
the world wide web.
