Casablanca population estimates to about 3,200,000 thereby occupying 11% of the overall population settled within Morocco. The population of Casablanca is constituted with Sunni Muslims of Arab, Berber, and mixed inhabitants of Arab-Berber. There is no significant disparity made between the Moroccan Arabs and Moroccan non-Arabs (Berbers and Saharawis) settled within this area. Moroccan-Arabic is the official dialect spoken by the Morocco natives. Several Moroccans settled along the northern end of the territory resort to the languages of Spanish and English. Casablanca Population is even noted for the presence of Sephardic Jewish community that was based in Anfa. During the 20th century, Casablanca witnessed about 6,000 Jews. The area is closely linked with Judaism. By the year 1940s and 1960s, the Jewish population significantly rose to around 70,000.
