CONCLUSION
First of all I would like to say that I had
never studied and analyzed a text like this before, but it has been an
interesting experience to do so.
From my point of view, Ferris Wheel is a story which is always read clockwise- to the
right, because it is simulating a wheel’s tour. I believe that this is the best
way to make sense.
When I started to read it, I found it a little
bit confusing as I didn’t know if I was reading it correctly but, step by step
I began to understand the content of the story.
As I had to work on the aspect of time I paid particular
attention to these particle tenses… that have helped me to do my work.
I have written down many notes but I haven’t
included all of them as they were too many examples so instead I have chosen
those that I thought were the most appropriate.
To be honest, I chose to read Ferris Wheels
because the other hypertext was chosen by other members of the group that I
would have preferred to read, but in spite of this, I am happy which this
choice as I have enjoyed reading this hypertext and working on it.
Finally, I like this way to work because it is
entertaining and original. It’s not the typical way to read and study a book. Because
I wasn’t familiar with the way of analysing this type of text, I used the
internet to help me; I also found that writing notes has made it more logical
and easier for me to understand.
… I have liked this experience.
