of Paul Morel as an artist
Author or topic:D.H Lawrence. The connection between Paul's art,
his mother and his consciousness.
Abstract or summary of the research in not more than 100 to max.150 words:
The purpose of this paper is to trace the principal character of
the novel Paul Morel seen as an artist through the feelings of three women
that round his life, and his real feeling: art.
He represents explorations of human individuality.
Pauls's mother claims on him kept frustrating his relationships with women
and the personal problems and conflicts, he does not find the real meaninig
of his life, whereas his mother lives, even though he falls in love with
Miriam, an intense but reserved spiritual girl; by the other hand he meets
Clara, a married woman, and is also powerfully drawn to her husband.
His relationship with Clara is not intellectual and he does not expound
his idias on art to her as he had to Miriam; his relationship with Clara
is different from Miriam in its absence of talk about art, that he will
get when three women will dissapear from his life.
